Playtime Tokyo
We have traveled across the world, playing around with some of the best fans one could ask for. Playtime has taken us from Paris to New York and most recently to one of the most vibrant cities in the world, Tokyo!
Tokyo’s exciting and charming city streets and culture captivated us instantly not to mention the influential quirky style of its’ residents. We could only hope that the avant-garde headbands we were about to present wouldn’t be too much for them…
…And they weren’t! New and old friends stopped by to view our SS12 collection as some of us joined in with the smaller fashionistas to show off some of our ‘clever’ and favorite accessories.
This year, Japan was the focus of Playtimes infamous pop-up shop. After the effects of mother natures’ actions earlier this year, kicokids along with a variety of influential brands donated special items to raise funds for the cause. Ritsuko Hirai came by to join us in celebrating the brand, the show and her home with her illustrated kicokids ‘doggy-bags.’

Japan is a part of our community and we thank them along with everyone else that was a part of our experience in Tokyo and Playtime for their continued support!
